Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study of quality of life impinging upon organizational commitment of police officers in Singburi Province, 2) to study organizational commitment of organizational commitment of police officers in Singburi Province, and 3) to study factors of quality of work life affecting organizational commitment of the above police group. Samples consisted of 240 police officers from a police station in the Province. The questionnaires used for collecting data were containing socio-economic characteristics of the police officers, factors of quality of work life with 8 aspects (independent variables) and factors of organizational commitment (dependent variables). And data were analyzed by percentage, means, standard deviation and multiple regressions.
It was found from the study that:
1. Overall factors affecting quality of work life affecting organizational commitment were at the highest level. Individually, they were able to rank from high to low as follows: work and life balance, followed by adequate and fair income and compensation, constitutionalism, social relevance, growth and security, social integration, development of human capabilities and safe and healthy environment, in that order.
2. Overall factors of organization commitment resulting from factors of quality of work life was also at the highest level. Individually, social form ranked the highest, followed by behavior and attitude, respectively.
