The Factors Affecting to the Mayoral Election of Nongkratum Subdistrict Municipality, Doem Bang Nang Buat District Suphan Buri Province : A Case Study of an Election on 20th April 2014

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the level of the mayoral election of people in Nongkratum municipality Doem Bang Nang Buat district, Suphan Buri province. The samples composed of 353 people in Nongkratum municipality Doem Bang Nang Buat district, Suphan Buri province. The data were collected by using questionnaires and analyzed by using the packaging computer program. Statistical tools employed in data analysis and presented through percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-Way ANOVA and Pearson Product – Moment Correlation Coefficient. The level of significance for statistical testing was 0.05 The research findings are as follow. The level of political participation of people Nongkratum municipality Doem Bang Nang Buat district, Suphan Buri province  was high. According to the hypothesis is testing, occupation, overview of elections result in the mayoral election. However, gender, age, level of education and income per year no result in the mayoral election.
