Democratic Political Culture of Sri Mahapho School Students, Prachinburi Province

Abstract

The objectives of the study were to 1) investigate the level of democratic political culture of Mahapho School’s students, PrachinburiPrivince and 2) compare factors of democratic political culture of Sri Mahapho School, Prachinburi Province by personal factors. The 229 students of Mathayomsuksa 4-6 of Sri Mahapho School, Prachinburi Province were the samples of study. A questionnaire was the instrument of the study for collecting data.  The Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-Test and one way ANOVA were the statistical analysis by using .05 level of statistical significance. The result of the study found that the level of democratic political culture of Sri Mahapho School’s mathayomsuksa 4-6 students, Prachinburi Province were high. The samples mostly agreed with this following item: holding the majority and receiving the minority.Whereas, the samples mostly disagreed with the item: you enthusiastically participate in politics. The hypothesis testing found that different income of students family affected to different democratic political culture of statistical significance at .05 which accepted the hypothesis. On the other hand, the different gender, education, major and domicile of students did not affect to democratic political culture which rejected the hypothesis.
