Strategic Development For Establishment of Special Economic Zone In the Burapha Border of Thailand : A Case Study of Sakaeo Province

Abstract

The objectives of this study was to collect physical data, potential areas which have harmoniously with strategy development plan. We determined the strategy direction and vision for established special economic zone in Burapha border. The vision is “The City of Burapha Gateway, Center of Trading and Investing, Tourism and Logistic Linked ASEAN”. The researcher determined “Strategic Development for Establishment of Special Economic Zone in Burapha Border” There were the goal target, indicators, tactics and Laos contributed opinions and suggestion from seminars and questionnaires which stakeholder requiring. By the way, stakeholders’ opinions were brought about to determine 5 strategies as follows: 1. Strategy Development in areas established for Special Economic Zone in Border, 2. Strategy Development in infrastructure for Special Economic Zone in Border, 3. Strategy Development in readiness of entrepreneurs, labors, personals for Special Economic Zone in Border, 4. Strategy Development in management systems for Special Economic Zone in Border, and 5. Strategy Development in trading, investing for Special Economic Zone in Border.
