Democratic Political Attitude of People in Cha-am Municipality,Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the level of democratic political attitude of people in  Cha-Am  Municipality,  Cha-Am District, Phetchaburi, to compare democratic  political attitude of people in  Cha-Am  Municipality,  Cha-Am District, Phetchaburi according to demographic factors and to study the relationship between political socialization and democratic Democratic  Political  Attitude  of  People in  Cha-Am  Municipality,  Cha-Am District, Phetchaburi  Province.

The samples of this research were 324 People in  Cha-Am  Municipality,  Cha-Am District, Phetchaburi  Province. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by the computer program. Statistics employed this research were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-Way ANOVA and Pearson, Product – Moment Correlation Coefficient. The level of significance for statistical testing was .05.

The research findings revealed that the level of democratic political attitude of People in  Cha-Am  Municipality,  Cha-Am District, Phetchaburi  Province was high. The hypothesis testing founded that differences in level of education, occupation and income  had different democratic political attitude at 0.05. In However , gender and age had not  different democratic political attitude at 0.05. In addition, political socialization had low positive relationship with democratic political attitude at .05.
