Purpose of this research aims 1) to study the level of satisfaction of Academic Support Staff of the Rector’s Office, Thammasat University. 2) to study the level of Organizational Engagement of Academic Support Staff of the Rector’s Office, Thammasat University. 3) to study the relationship between personal factors and the level of satisfaction and organizational engagement of Academic Support Staff of the Rector’s Office, Thammasat University. 4) to study the relationship between satisfaction and organization engagement of Academic Support Staff of the Rector’s Office, Thammasat University. The sample consisted of 207 persons who have been working as Academic Support Staff of the Rector’s Office, Thammasat University. Data was collected by using questionnaires and analyzing by a computer program. Statistical tools used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test (One Way Analysis of Variance: ANOVA), and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient: r.
The findings were as the follows: The Overall staffs have level of satisfaction in high level. When considering each factor of satisfaction, relationships with colleagues, job description, Employment security, relationships among supervisors are at the high level, progress in the job position and salary and welfare are at the medium level. The level of organizational engagement was found that overall is at the high level, When considering each factor of the engagement, willingness to devote their efforts to work for the organization is the highest level, followed by proudness to be a part of the organization. The item with the lowest score is the strong desire to remain a member of the organization. It also found that the relationship between satisfaction and organizational engagement is statistically significant at the levels of 0.01.
