Opinions of Peoples on Activities Toward Corporate Social Responsibilities of Ratchaburi Power Plant, Ban Rai Sub-district, Damnoensaduak District, Ratchaburi

Abstract

This research aimed to study opinions of people on corporate social responsibilities activities of Ratchaburi Power Plant, Ban Rai Sub-district, Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi Province and personal factors and public participation factors of people in Ban Rai Sub-district, Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi Province related to the operation of corporate social responsibility activities of Ratchaburi Power Plant on various fields namely 1. environment 2. society and community 3. education 4. human rights 5. public health and 6. religion, traditions and culture. The research found that the overall opinion of people on corporate social responsibilities activities of Ratchaburi Power Plant  was at high level (mean 4.05). About public participation towards corporate social responsibilities activities of Ratchaburi Power Plant the research found that people had overall participated in activities sometimes (mean 3.17). While the hypothesis testing found that relationship between personal factors namely gender, nationality, age, career, marital status, duration of living, level of education together with public participation on decision making, participation in operation, participation in receiving benefits and participation in evaluation were related to opinion of people on corporate social responsibilities activities of Ratchaburi Power Plant with statistical significance at the level of 0.05.
