The Democratic Political Attitude of Sriprachan “Methipramuk” High School Students in Suphan Buri Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the level of the democratic  political attitude of Sriprachan “Methipramuk” high school students in Suphan Buri province and to determine factors affected their the democratic political attitude. The samples composed of 193 Sriprachan “Methipramuk” high school students in Suphan Buri province. Proportional stratified random sampling and simple random sampling method were end. The data were collected by using questionnaires and analyzed by using the packaging computer program. Statistical tools employed in data analysis and presented through Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test, One-Way ANOVA and Pearson Product – Moment Correlation Coefficient. The level of significance for statistical testing was 0.05. The research findings are as follow. The level of attitudes of Sriprachan “Methipramuk” high school students in Suphan Buri province was high. According to the hypothesis, gender and political participation caused difference in the attitudes. However, level of education, occupation of parent, family income per month and interesting in political information did not caused any difference in the attitudes
