Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the level of satisfaction of the people in Mueang Nakhon Pathom District on the use of public van services and 2) compare the satisfaction of the people in Mueang Nakhon Pathom District on the use of public van services classified by personal factors. The sample group used in this research was 300 passengers who had used public van services in Nakhon Pathom - Bangkok route, using questionnaires as a research tool. The data obtained from the questionnaires were processed by the computer program. For the statistics used in data analysis consisted of percentage, means and standard deviation while using t-test, One-Way ANOVA and Pearson's Product Moment Correlation Coefficient in hypothesis testing with statistical significance at the level of 0.05

The research found that people had overall satisfaction on the use of public van services at high level (mean 3.80 and they also satisfied at high level in all aspects. When sorting from the highest to lowest means, it found that the sample group satisfied on the services at highest level (mean 3.90), followed by the driver's characteristics (mean 3.80), tangible creation (mean 3.78) and communication (mean3.74). The hypothesis test found that people with different in age, occupation and average monthly income, had different satisfaction with the use of public van services at the statistical significance level of .05
