Learning Management With Czerny Exercises To Improving he Ability Of Playing Piano For Music Education Undergraduates, Thepsatri Rajabhat University

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to develop the ability of playing piano for music education students at Thepsatri Rajabhat University by managing learning through Czerny exercises with an 70/70 efficient standard, and to study the students satisfaction towards the teaching through Czerny Exercises. The sample consisted of 21 music education students who were minoring in piano at Thepsatri Rajabhat University in the academic year of 1/2018, which was selected by purposive sampling. The research instruments were 1 .Czerny Exercises and 2. the questionnaire of the students’ satisfaction towards the teaching through Czerny Exercises. 

The results of this research found that Czerny Exercises was averaged at 70.18/80.61 which was higher than an 70/70 efficiency. In addition, the students’ satisfaction towards the teaching through Czerny Exercises was in the highest level  (  = 4.57). According to the results of this research, the teaching through Czerny exercises will be beneficial and can be the ways to solve problems and improve music skills of students.
