Effects of English Bilingual Education Management System using Role Playing Method on the topic “Economics” Social Studies Religion and Culture Subject Areas for Prathomsuksa 4 Students

ผลการจัดการเรียนรู้ระบบการเรียนแบบสองภาษา ด้วยวิธีสอนแบบบทบาทสมมติ เรื่อง เศรษฐศาสตร์น่ารู้ กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้สังคมศึกษา ศาสนาและวัฒนธรรม ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) create lesson plans for the bilingual education using role plays for Prathomsuksa 4 students to meet the efficiency criteria of 80/80; 2) compare the effects of English Bilingual Education Management System using role playing method on the topic “Economics” social studies religion and culture subject areas for Prathomsuksa 4 students before and after implementing the learning activity package; 3) study the students’ role playing skills for Prathomsuksa 4 students; and 4) study the students’ satisfaction towards the learning activity package. The research sample, chosen by Prathomsuksa 4 students of Anuban Doembangnangbuat (Watthachang) school, consisted of 40 Prathomsuksa 4 students under the jurisdiction of during the second semester of the academic year 2016.  The research instruments were: 1) lesson plans for the bilingual education using role plays, 2) achievement measure, 3) a role playing skill evaluation form, and 4) an assessment test on satisfaction towards the using role playing method on the topic “goods and services” Social Studies Religion and Culture Subject Areas for Prathomsuksa 4 students. Analyze data by finding frequency average standard deviation and t-test.  Findings were as follows: 1) The lesson plans of English Bilingual Education Management System using role playing method for prathomsuksa 4/1 students had the efficiency E1/E2 criteria of 82.87/82.08.  2) The students’ effects of prathomsuksa 4/1 students skills after implementing the learning English Bilingual Education Management System using role playing method were significantly higher than those before using it (p<.01).  3) The students’ role playing skills of prathomsuksa 4/1 students skills after implementing the learning English Bilingual Education Management System using role playing method were at a good level.  4) The students’ satisfaction towards the using role playing method on the topic “Economics” Social Studies Religion and Culture Subject Areas for Prathomsuksa 4/1 students were at a high level.
