The Significance of Semiotics and Ideology in the Study of Postmodern Public Administration
Keywords:
Semiology, Mythology, Postmodern Public Administration, Critical Public AdministrationAbstract
This article aims to analyze the application of semiotics and ideology in postmodern public administration studies. It also examines their influence on understanding these phenomena.
The study reveals that in the postmodern era characterized by disorder and a society dominated by signs, where social phenomena are often masked by various ideologies the study of postmodern public administration must adopt a semiotic approach and analyze ideologies in conjunction with other methodological frameworks. Semiotics and ideology are identified as essential concepts for examining postmodern public administration phenomena in five specific ways.
The author suggests that methodological approaches in postmodern public administration studies should emphasize more critical perspectives. Integrating the concepts of semiotics and ideology is recommended to expand the boundaries of knowledge and methodology within the field of public administration.
