คำสาปแช่งในวรรณคดีไทย

บทคัดย่อ

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์การประกอบสร้างคำสาปแช่งในวรรณคดีไทย และค้นหามิติแห่งสารัตถะที่ปรากฏในคำสาปแช่งในวรรณคดีไทย ข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการศึกษาคือคำสาปแช่งที่ปรากฏในวรรณคดีไทย 8 เรื่อง ตั้งแต่สมัยกรุงศรีอยุธยาจนถึงสมัยรัชกาลที่ 6 แห่งกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์ จำนวน 43 บท โดยใช้กรอบแนวคิดการประกอบสร้าง

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การประกอบสร้างคำสาปแช่งในวรรณคดีไทยนั้นใช้องค์ประกอบ 3 ส่วนคือ การเริ่มเรื่อง การดำเนินเรื่องหรือเนื้อเรื่อง และการจบหรือสรุปเรื่อง กลวิธีในการประกอบสร้างคำสาปแช่งนั้นพบว่ามีการใช้คำ 3 ชนิด คือ คำกริยา คำช่วยกริยา และคำวิเศษณ์ โดยคำที่ใช้ประกอบคำสาปแช่งนั้นมีหน้าที่สำคัญ 2 ประการคือเป็นคำที่ช่วยแสดงความหมายของกริยาหรือประโยคนั้นให้ชัดเจนขึ้น และทำหน้าที่สื่อความหมายว่าตัวละครมีการกระทำ มีอาการหรืออยู่ในสภาพเช่นไร ส่วนการวิเคราะห์ลักษณะทางภาษาของคำสาปแช่งนั้นพบว่ามีลักษณะเป็นภาษาเรื่องเล่า ซึ่งมีองค์ประกอบ 4 ประการ คือ มีการเริ่มต้นและการลงท้าย มีการแสดงหัวเรื่องและการแสดงการเปลี่ยนหัวเรื่องหรือหัวเรื่องย่อย มีการเชื่อมโยงความ และมีการซ้ำ

การศึกษามิติแห่งสารัตถะของคำสาปแช่งในวรรณคดีไทยนั้นพบว่ามี 2 ประเด็น คือวิถีของการสาปแช่ง ได้แก่ มูลเหตุในการสาปแช่ง รายละเอียดของคำสาปแช่ง ผลของคำสาปแช่ง เงื่อนไขในการพ้นคำสาปแช่ง วิธีการพ้นจากคำสาปแช่ง และปัจจัยของคำสาปแช่งที่ส่งผลต่อองค์ประกอบของเรื่อง และ ธรรมชาติของสรรพสิ่งที่ปรากฏในคำการสาปแช่ง ได้แก่ ระบบความคิดและจิตวิญญาณ และสภาวะเหนือโลกเหนือธรรมชาติ 

Curse Words in Thai Literature

The objectives of this study were to investigate discourse construction of curse words in Thai literature, and to examine essence dimensions of curse words appeared in Thai literature. The data under investigation was curse words collected appeared in 43 proses from eight Thai literatures composed during Ayutthaya to King Rama VI of Rattanakosin periods. The data was analyzed based on discourse construction framework.

The findings were as follows:  Discourse construction of curse words in Thai literatures composed of three parts including introduction, narrative process or content body, and ending or conclusion. Moreover, strategies in constitution of curse words employed three types of lexical items, verb, auxiliary verb, and adverb. The lexical items used in constitution of curse words held two main functions, amplifying the meaning of verb or sentence, and communicating the meaning about characters’ actions, physical conditions and circumstance. Furthermore, analysis of physical appearance of curse words indicated that i emerged as narrative language comprising of four parts, beginning and ending, indicating topic and reforming topic or sub-topic, illustrating coherence, and repeating.

Dimensional essence of curse words in Thai literature covered two issues: the way of cursing such as causes in cursing, details of curse words, outcome of curse words, conditions for revoking curse words, methods for revoking curse words, and effects of curse words in composition of the story; and also the nature of thought that appeared in curse words including thinking and spiritual system as well as those of the supernatural phenomena.
