THE CREATION OF LEVER HARP TEACHING PACKAGE FOR BEGINNER STUDENT

Abstract

  The objectives of this research were 1) to create a lever harp teaching package for beginner student, 2) to study effectiveness of the lessons after learning, and 3) to evaluate the satisfaction of students on learning by using this material.
   The research sample group consisted of three Pritta Music School students aged 10 or above who were studying piano but no experience of harp study. The case studies were taught by the researcher for nine classes, one hour per one class. The research instruments included a teacher guide book and a lesson book. The data was analyzed and evaluated using percentage, mean and standard deviation.
   The results revealed that the students who completed these lessons by using this material got averaging score as 80.44 percent. In addition, satisfaction of students on learning by using this material was scored as 4.73 out of 5.00.
