English Oral Communication Skill Improvements and Needs from Foreign Tourists Engagement Perspective as Duty Notion by Thai Airport Passenger-handlers and Flight Attendants of Thai Aviation and Airports

Abstract
Most aviation and airports industries expect their competent passenger-handlers and flight attendants recruits to meet the following requirement: recruits must have a good command of the English language. They should have excellent English Oral Communication Skills and acquaintance in English for specific purpose of course in workplace. Ground staff and flight attendant jobs are generally challenging, but they also get well paying. To be Ground and AIR staff workers, you need also to be able to get creative solutions to the unexpected problems. This study reflects the experience of the airport passenger-handlers and flight attendants in Thailand regarding with their challenges in performing English Oral Communication in the workplace. Analyzed from perspective of social engagement, the problems and needs found in this study are possible to be basis for English for specific purpose (ESP) material betterment in the related field.
