Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The manuscript has not been previously published or disseminated in any form, nor is it currently under consideration for publication by any other journal.
  • The manuscript has been prepared in accordance with the current article template prescribed by the Journal, using the template corresponding to the appropriate article type (Research Article or Academic Article), with all required sections completed in full.
  • The manuscript file is submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc/.docx) on A4 paper size only, with a total length of 10–15 pages (including references).
  • The TH SarabunPSK font is used throughout the manuscript in accordance with the font sizes specified for each component, and page margins are set as prescribed in the template (top: 2.54 cm, bottom: 2.00 cm, left: 2.54 cm, right: 2.00 cm).
  • The full names of all authors are provided in both Thai and English, together with academic titles, institutional affiliations, and email addresses. The Corresponding Author is clearly identified with an asterisk (*).
  • Thai-language manuscripts include abstracts in both Thai and English with consistent content, each not exceeding 250 words, accompanied by 3–5 Keywords.
  • All figures and tables are placed at appropriate positions within the text, with figure captions positioned below each figure and table captions positioned above each table.
  • All in-text citations and references (bibliography) are written entirely in English and formatted in accordance with the APA 7th Edition referencing style. Thai-language sources must be transliterated into English with [In Thai] appended at the end of each entry.
  • URLs or DOIs are provided for all references where available, and the accuracy and completeness of all reference entries have been verified.
  • The preliminary screening fee of 500 THB has been paid, and proof of payment has been uploaded to the TCI system together with the manuscript submission.
  • The submitting author agrees to comply with all rules, conditions, and editorial decisions of the Journal.
  • Authors are advised to check their email regularly, including the junk/spam folder, as the Editorial Board will communicate with authors primarily via email.

Manuscript Preparation for the Modern Management Frontier Journal

1. Article Structure
1.1 Research Article

A research article must present research findings in a systematic manner and shall comprise the following core components (authors may adapt the headings or structure as appropriate): Introduction, Research Objectives, Conceptual Framework, Research Methodology, Research Findings, Discussion and Conclusion, Acknowledgement (if applicable), and References.

1.2 Academic Article

An academic article must present scholarly knowledge through systematic analysis, synthesis, and critical evaluation, and shall comprise the following core components: Introduction, Content/Material, Summary, and References.

3. Manuscript Components
3.1 Article Title

  • Thai-language manuscripts: The title must be provided in both Thai and English.
  • English-language manuscripts: The title shall be provided in English.

3.2 Author Information

  • The full names of all authors must be provided in both Thai and English. For English-language manuscripts, names shall be provided in English only.
  • Academic title, institutional affiliation (one affiliation only, in the primary language of the manuscript), and email address must be provided for each author.
  • The Corresponding Author must be clearly identified with an asterisk (*).

3.3 Abstract and Keywords

  • Thai-language manuscripts: Must include abstracts in both Thai and English with consistent content.
  • English-language manuscripts: Must include an abstract in English.
  • Abstract length: Not exceeding 250 words.
  • The abstract must cover the following components: research objectives, research methodology, and summary of findings.
  • 3–5 Keywords must be provided.

3.4 Tables and Figures

  • Tables: Labelled as "Table" followed by a sequential number and a descriptive caption, placed above the table body. Tables shall be centered on the page.
  • Figures: Labelled as "Figure" followed by a sequential number and a descriptive caption, placed below the figure. Figures shall be centered on the page.
  • All tables must include full gridlines/borders.

4. Referencing
4.1 General Principles

All in-text citations and references (bibliography) must be written entirely in English and formatted in accordance with the APA 7th Edition referencing style, regardless of the language in which the manuscript is written.

4.2 In-text Citations

The author-date system shall be used as follows:

  • One author: Surname followed by year, e.g. Sookjai (2023) or (Sookjai, 2023)
  • Two authors: Connected with "and", e.g. Adair and Vygotsky (2023) or (Brown & Levinson, 2022)
  • Three or more authors: First author's surname followed by "et al.", e.g. Paul et al. (2023) or (Paul et al., 2023)

4.3 Transliteration of Thai-language References

Manuscripts in Thai that cite Thai-language sources must transliterate all reference entries into English, with [In Thai] appended at the end of each entry.

5. Article Processing Charges (APC)

The article processing charge is divided into two components as follows:

Component 1: Preliminary Screening Fee

All submitting authors are required to pay a preliminary screening fee of 500 THB at the time of manuscript submission. This fee shall be counted as part of the total article processing charge.

Component 2: Peer Review and Processing Fee

Upon passing the preliminary screening by the Editorial Board, the author will be notified to pay the remaining balance of the article processing charge.

All fee payments must be made via bank transfer to the following account: Krungthai Bank, Muang Thong Thani Branch; Account Name: Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University; Account Number: 147-1-03636-7. Proof of payment must be uploaded to the TCI system.

*The Journal reserves the right to retain all fees paid. No refunds shall be issued under any circumstances, regardless of whether the manuscript is rejected at the editorial screening or peer review stage.

6. Review Process

All manuscripts accepted for publication must pass the screening and quality assessment process conducted by the Editorial Board of the Modern Management Frontier Journal and three (3) independent peer reviewers, employing a double-blind review process.

7. Notes to Authors

  1. Manuscripts accepted for publication must not have been previously published in any form.
  2. Manuscripts submitted to the Modern Management Frontier Journal must not be under concurrent consideration for publication by any other journal.
  3. Authors must submit their manuscripts to the Editorial Board of the Modern Management Frontier Journal, School of Management Science, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, within the submission deadline specified in the call for papers for each issue.
  4. The Modern Management Frontier Journal is published biannually (June and December).
  5. Any party wishing to reproduce articles published in the Journal must obtain prior permission from the author(s) in accordance with applicable copyright law and must notify the Editorial Board of the Modern Management Frontier Journal in every instance.
  6. All views and opinions expressed in the Modern Management Frontier Journal are solely those of the respective author(s). The School of Management Science, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, and the Editorial Board do not necessarily endorse or share such views.
