Information For Authors

Submission Conditions

  1. The Modern Management Frontier Journal welcomes manuscript submissions from researchers, academics, faculty members, personnel affiliated with educational institutions and other organizations, as well as graduate and undergraduate students who wish to disseminate their scholarly work through the Journal.
  2. Authors must register as members of the Modern Management Frontier Journal prior to submitting a manuscript and must comply strictly with all submission requirements and conditions. Authors are advised to read the submission guidelines carefully before proceeding.
  3. Authors must complete all required submission details and upload the manuscript file in Microsoft Word format (.doc/.docx) using only the article template prescribed by the Journal.
  4. Article Processing Charges: The article processing charge (APC) is divided into two components as follows:

Component 1: Preliminary Screening Fee

All submitting authors — whether internal personnel of Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University or external authors — are required to pay a preliminary screening fee of 500 THB at the time of manuscript submission. Payment must be made via bank transfer to the following account: Bank: Krungthai Bank, Muang Thong Thani Branch, Account Name: Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, Account Number: 147-1-03636-7.

Proof of payment must be uploaded to the TCI system together with the manuscript submission. This fee shall be counted as part of the total article processing charge.

Component 2: Peer Review and Processing Fee

Upon passing the preliminary screening by the Editorial Board, the author will be notified to pay the remaining balance of the article processing charge. Payment must be made via bank transfer to the account specified above, and proof of payment must be uploaded to the TCI system.

Example: An external author submitting a Thai-language manuscript to the Modern Management Frontier Journal is required to pay a preliminary screening fee of 500 THB and upload proof of payment at the time of submission. Should the manuscript pass the preliminary screening by the Editorial Board, the author will be required to pay the remaining balance of 4,000 THB, bringing the total article processing charge to 4,500 THB.

*The Journal reserves the right to retain all fees paid. No refunds shall be issued under any circumstances, regardless of whether the manuscript is rejected at the editorial screening or peer review stage.

  1. All references cited in the manuscript — whether submitted in Thai or English — must be written exclusively in English and formatted in accordance with the APA 7th Edition referencing style, for both in-text citations and the reference list (bibliography). Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all references in strict compliance with the Journal's prescribed format. Manuscripts with references that do not conform to the Journal's requirements will not be considered for review. Authors may consult the referencing guidelines available on the Journal's website under the menu "APA 7th Edition Citation Examples."
  2. The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject any manuscript that does not comply with the submission conditions without entering the review process.

Review Policy

  1. All submitted manuscripts undergo a preliminary screening by the Editorial Board to assess their suitability and alignment with the Journal's aims and scope.
           1.1 Manuscripts that do not pass the preliminary screening shall be rejected, and the corresponding author will be notified accordingly.
           1.2 Manuscripts that pass the preliminary screening shall proceed to the payment stage. The Journal will notify the author of the required payment. Upon receipt of payment, the manuscript will be forwarded to peer reviewers with relevant expertise.
  2. All manuscripts accepted for publication must undergo peer review by three (3) independent reviewers with relevant subject-matter expertise, employing a double-blind review process.
  3. The Editorial Board reserves the right to make the final decision on the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts. No refunds shall be issued under any circumstances.
  4. All content published in the Journal — including articles, text, figures, and tables — represents the views and sole responsibility of the respective author(s) and does not necessarily reflect the position of Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University.
  5. Manuscripts submitted to the Modern Management Frontier Journal must be original works that have not been previously published, disseminated, or concurrently under consideration by any other journal.
  6. Manuscripts that have been previously presented at academic conferences may be submitted provided that the author certifies that the manuscript has been substantially revised from the conference version. Such manuscripts shall be subject to a new and independent peer review process.

Submission Procedure

  1. Register as a member of the Modern Management Frontier Journal, log in to the system, and select the "Submit Manuscript" menu.
  2. Prepare the manuscript by completing all required information and formatting the manuscript in accordance with the appropriate article template prescribed by the Journal. Manuscripts must be between 10 and 20 pages in length on A4 paper, submitted as a Microsoft Word file (.doc/.docx) with the following page margin settings:

  1. Manuscript submission and preliminary fee — Authors shall submit their manuscript through the system in accordance with the prescribed template and pay the preliminary screening fee of 500 THB via bank transfer. Proof of payment must be uploaded to the TCI system at the time of submission.

The Journal reserves the right to retain the article processing charge in full. No refunds shall be issued under any circumstances.

  1. Peer review — Upon verification of payment, the manuscript will be forwarded to three (3) qualified reviewers with relevant expertise for evaluation.
  2. Referencing requirements — All manuscripts, whether submitted in Thai or English, must include in-text citations and a bibliography (reference list) written in English and formatted in accordance with the APA 7th Edition referencing style.
  3. Publication — Once the manuscript has passed the review process and all required revisions have been completed, the Editorial Board will publish the article electronically on the Journal's online platform.
  4. Editorial discretion — The Editorial Board reserves the right to make the final decision on the acceptance and publication of all manuscripts.

Referencing

-General Principles

All in-text citations and references (bibliography) must be written entirely in English and formatted in accordance with the APA 7th Edition referencing style, regardless of the language in which the manuscript is written.

- In-text Citations

The author-date system shall be used as follows:

  • One author: Surname followed by year, e.g. Sookjai (2023) or (Sookjai, 2023)
  • Two authors: Connected with "and", e.g. Adair and Vygotsky (2023) or (Brown & Levinson, 2022)
  • Three or more authors: First author's surname followed by "et al.", e.g. Paul et al. (2023) or (Paul et al., 2023)

-Transliteration of Thai-language References

Manuscripts in Thai that cite Thai-language sources must transliterate all reference entries into English, with [In Thai] appended at the end of each entry.
