การศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการตั้งโรงงานประกอบสายพานลำเลียง ของ บริษัท เพิร์ท คอนเวย์เออร์ จำกัด

บทคัดย่อ

การศึกษาครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) วิเคราะห์ด้านการตลาด ด้านเทคนิค ด้านการบริหาร และ (2) ประเมินความคุ้มค่าทางการเงินในการลงทุนตั้งโรงงานประกอบสายพานลำเลียง ของ บริษัท เพิร์ท คอนเวย์เออร์ จำกัด

การศึกษาครั้งนี้ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงประยุกต์ โดยทำการศึกษาและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากงบการเงิน และหมายเหตุประกอบงบการเงิน ของบริษัท เพิร์ท คอนเวย์เออร์ จำกัด ตั้งแต่ปี 2547 -2554 และข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวข้องกับอุตสาหกรรมสายพานลำเลียง โดยทำการวิเคราะห์ความเป็นไปได้ทางด้านการตลาด ด้านเทคนิค ด้านการบริหาร และด้านการเงิน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ คือ ระยะเวลาคืนทุน ระยะเวลาคืนทุนแบบคิดลด ค่าปัจจุบันสุทธิ ดัชนีกำไร และอัตราผลตอบแทนของโครงการ

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า (1) ความต้องการสายพานลำเลียงในโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มสูงขึ้น จากการเปิดเสรีทางการค้า มีการใช้เครื่องจักรเพื่อทดแทนแรงงานคนเพิ่มสูงขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง จึงนับว่ามีโอกาสทางด้านการตลาด สำหรับด้านเทคนิค พบว่า ควรตั้งโรงงานใหม่ที่ ถนนพัฒนาชนบท 3 (ร่มเกล้า) แขวงคลองสองต้นนุ่น เขตลาดกระบัง กรุงเทพฯ และซื้อเครื่องจักรกลึง โดยใช้เงินลงทุนทั้งสิ้น 4,000,000.00 บาท ส่วนด้านบริหารควรจัดโครงสร้างองค์กรแบบกระจายอำนาจ มีการกำหนดคุณสมบัติและอัตรากำลังคนที่เหมาะกับหน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ โดยมีการเพิ่มจำนวนพนักงานฝ่ายขาย และช่างเทคนิค เพื่อรองรับปริมาณงานที่มากขึ้น (2) ประเมินความคุ้มค่าทางการเงิน พบว่า มีระยะเวลาคืนทุน 4 ปี 3เดือน ระยะเวลาคืนทุนแบบคิดลด ณ อัตราผลตอบแทนที่ต้องการจากการลงทุน 7% ต้องใช้เวลา 4 ปี 6 เดือน มูลค่าปัจจุบันสุทธิ เท่ากับ 1,578,781.93 บาท ดัชนีกำไรเท่ากับ 1.39 เท่า และมีอัตราผลตอบแทนของโครงการเท่ากับ 16.82%ซึ่งสูงกว่าอัตราผลตอบแทนขั้นต่ำที่กำหนดดังนั้นจึงสรุปได้ว่า โครงการการตั้งโรงงานประกอบสายพานของ บริษัทเพิร์ท คอนเวย์เออร์ จำกัดมีความน่าสนใจที่จะลงทุน

ABSTRACT

This feasibility study aimed to: (1) analyze marketing, technical and management; and (2) evaluate the financial value of investment in setting up conveyor assembly plant at PERT Conveyor Company Limited.

This feasibility study was documentary study using PERT Conveyor Company Limited’s financial statements, notes to the financial statements during the years 2004 – 2011 and conveyor industry data. The data analysis was on marketing, technical, management and financial feasibilities. The research instruments were SWOT analysis, the five force model, and financial instruments included payback period, discounted payback period, net present value, profitability index and internal rate of return.

The results showed that (1) the demand of conveyor in industrial factories was upward trend because of the trading liberalization and increase in using machines to replace labor in industrial factories. So it was the marketing opportunities. If the company invested in this project, technical analysis showed that the plant should be located at Pattanachonabot 3 Road (Romkrow), Klongsaongtonnun Subdistrict, Ladkrabang District, Bangkok and set up the Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines with the total investment of 4 million baht. In the area of management, the organizational structure should be decentralized, the qualification and quantity of personnel should be appropriate for their responsibilities, and the sales staffs and technicians should be hired more to support the workloads; and (2) in evaluating the financial value , it found that payback period was 4 years and 3 months, discounted payback period was 4 years and 6 months, net present value was 1,578,781.93baht, profitability index was 1.39 and internal rate of return was 16.82%which higher than required rate of return. That is the conveyor assembly plant set up project of PERT Conveyor Company Limited was attractive to invest.
