บทความนี้เกี่ยวข้องระบบการผลิตแบบโตโยต้า ที่มุ่งเน้นการขจัดความสูญเปล่าของกระบวนการผลิต 7 ประการ คือ การผลิตมากเกินไป การรอคอย การขนถ่ายที่ไม่จำเป็น การมีกระบวนการมากเกินไป การมีสินค้าคงคลังเกินความจำเป็น การเคลื่อนไหวที่ไม่จำเป็น และการผลิตของเสีย โดยหลักการสำคัญของโตโยต้า ประกอบด้วย 4 กลุ่ม คือ ปรัชญา กระบวนการ บุคลากรและหุ้นส่วนทางธุรกิจ และการแก้ไขปัญหา ระบบการผลิตแบบโตโยต้ามีแนวคิดสำคัญ 6 ประการ ได้แก่ ระบบการไหลแบบชิ้นเดียว ระบบดึง การมุ่งเน้นลูกค้า การควบคุมด้วยตนเอง การมุ่งขจัดความสูญเปล่า และการปรับปรุงอย่างต่อเนื่อง

Abstract

This paper is related to the Toyota Production System that emphasizes in waste reduction in production process. There are 7 items of waste that are overproduction, waiting line, unnecessary transport or conveyance, overprocessing or incorrect processing, excess inventory, unnecessary movement, and defect. Toyota principles comprise of 4 groups 1) Philosophy 2) Process 3) People and Partners and 4) Problem solving. Toyota Production System has 6 vital important concepts that are one-piece flow system, pull system, customer focus, autonomation, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.
