DEVELOPMENT OF ACTIVITY FOR PROMOTING LEARNING SKILL IN THE 21ST CENTURY FOR STUDENTS IN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF LAOS IN LAO PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC

Abstract

The objectives of this paper aim to study the current situation, problems, requirements, and development of the activity format for promoting learning skill in the 21st century of the students in the National University of Laos. The analysis in this paper is based on the questionnaires and in-depth interview distributed to bachelor students, teachers, and administrators in the National University of Laos, and the administrators in the Ministry of Education and Sport.

          The paper found that organizing activity promoting learning skill in the 21st century for students in the National University of Laos is at the very least level. On the other hand, the problem of development activity for promoting learning skill in the 21st century is very high. The study also found that the demand for organizing this learning skill activity covers seven skills. Therefore, the development of activity for promoting learning skill in the 21st century for the students in the National University of Laos consists seven formats and 34 activities which are consistent with learning skill in the 21st century.
