Distinguish between real news and fake news. and the emergence of operational awareness based on news among undergraduate students

Abstract
This paper presents the results of an objective study based on the undergraduate’s experience of separating real and fake news (18-24 years old) and study the factors that drive action, examine, analyze, to find a summary of real news, fake news, and share news received. The study used quantitative research, collect information online by using a simple randomization method. The statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, analysis of variance, analysis of variance, and latent path analysis. The results of the research found that (1) the main channels that the sample group of 483 people used to share and the sample group thought that it was the news that was most likely to be fake news, in order with Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Instragram, Line. & Line Group, Twitter and Tiktok. (2) Personal factors found that different sexes and levels resulted in The overall news exposure experience of the fake news indicators differs, where sub-issues, headlines and terms are used. For the types of news that show anomalies and illustrations, females have higher average exposure than males, Year 4 have a high exposure average at Year 1 students, while different fields of study do not result in different exposure experience. (3) Differences in personal factors such as gender, grade level, and field of study, this study unable to conclusions; - having an effect on practical experience, checking, analyzing to find out whether it is fake news or real news, but found a difference in the overall view. And - inability to infer the effect on behavioral practices, news sharing. and (4) The results of the analysis of the structural equation model that are consistent with the empirical data can conclude that; - a news experience with a fake news indicator and experience to find conclusions, fake news, real news, affect behavior, practice, news sharing and - while personal factors were gender, grade level and field of study. Does not result in behavior, practice, news sharing.
