Abstract

Social Media is a communication platform that gains more popularity these days. This encourages people to use online social space to communicate on an individual level. In addition to individual level, sometimes social media can be used to impart information on a social or collective level, regarding events and important situations that occur in real time. The survey by Media Alert, a project under Thai Media Fund, shows top 10 popular issues that social media users communicated in December 2022 as follows: 1) The World Cup 2022 2) Royal Boat Sukhothai wrecked 3) New Year's Eve Welcoming the New Year 4) Neo City Concert: Bangkok - The Link 5) Minimum Wage Policy 6) Christmas 7). Prince Patcharakitiyapha 8) Song “Stand by Lo” 9) #Mr. Bai Fern and 10) China announced the opening of the country. Applying this information with concepts in cultural education in order to analyze these phenomena, the analysis reveals that Pop Culture could be
