NATIONAL POLITICAL MEDIA CONTENT IN SELECTING MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES (MPS) THAT THAI PEOPLE LIKE TO FOLLOW

Abstract

In Thailand in 2023, there are 52,287,045 eligible voters, 25,136,051 of whom are male and 27,150,994 are female. In Bangkok, there are 4,469,280 of whom are female, while the rest are in other provinces. Eligible voters follow national politics and national political media content, including political facts, political activity news, editorials, long-form content, documentaries, satirical poetry, debates, discussions, interviews, and follow political critics. Each citizen follows national political media. From a simple survey of 100 people, data was collected incidentally for writing academic articles using an online questionnaire. It was found that eligible voters are interested in following national political media content, from most to least, as follows:


          From the summary of the results of the simple survey, the government sector such as the Election Commission, the Prime Minister's Office, and political parties can use the information to promote the public's interest in politics in a correct way through the content of such media according to the public's interest.
