Abstract
The objectives of this research are to study the satisfaction of participants and shop owners, and to explore the revenue generated from the sale of goods and services in the sound of Roi-Et project. The sample group consisted of 2,931 participants in the event and 50 business owner’s/ service providers. The research tools used were:
1. A satisfaction survey for event participants, and 2. A satisfaction survey for business owners and a survey on income from the sale of local products.
The research findings revealed that overall satisfaction among participants was at the highest level (𝑥̅ = 4.54, S.D.=0.87). Shop owners also expressed high overall satisfaction
(𝑥̅ = 4.31, S.D.=1.04), and overall revenue from the sale of goods and services resulted in net sales of 368,190 baht. In summary,
the sound of Roi-Et project is a creative media that helps convey the musical identity of Roi-Et province to the international stage and can help stimulate the local economy and cultural tourism.
