The housekeeper would prepare the rooms and replenish the supplies for new customers, and at the end of every month, there would be an order for a consumable item to keep the stock for customer service. 2) The risks found included the collection and refund of deposits to customers, loosing revenue from other services that were unknown and not collected from the customer on the day the guest returned the room, the loss of purchasing and consumable items. The new accounting information system required to having a machine for customer to sign instead of the document system. The system could verify the signature, room number when signing up to track various transactions and to verify the identity of the customer, enabling risk management. In addition, it also required to have a product list and record in the system with a point of purchase to notify the purchase, helping reducing the trouble of ordering. The new accounting information system could effectively support the risk management of the hotel business the case studies.
