Abstract

This research aimed to examine Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability (LOHAS), Brand Relevance in a Product Category (BRIC), organic vegetable consumption behavior among Generation Z consumers, and the relationships among these variables. This study employed a survey research design. The sample consisted of 405 Generation Z consumers born between 1997 and 2005. Data were collected using questionnaires administered through face-to-face surveys at organic vegetable retail outlets and online platforms during October–December 2025. Convenience sampling was employed, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson’s correlation coefficient.
The findings revealed that the overall level of LOHAS was high (x̄ = 4.04), while BRIC for organic vegetables was also at a high level (x̄ = 3.84). Most respondents consumed organic vegetables every 4–6 days (27.2%), purchased organic vegetables 2–3 times per week (62.0%), had been purchasing organic vegetables for less than one year (58.3%), and spent between 51–300 baht per purchase (80.7%). Hypothesis testing indicated that LOHAS was positively correlated with the frequency of organic vegetable consumption and the frequency of purchasing behaviors (p < .05). In addition, BRIC for organic vegetables was positively associated with the frequency of purchasing organic vegetables (p < .01).
