ADMINISTRATION OF PRE-PRIMARY SCHOOL DIRECTOR IN PRAWET DISTRICT BANGKOK METROPOLIS.

Abstract

This study aimed to 1) study the management practices of early childhood education administrators under the jurisdiction of the Prawet District Office, Bangkok, and 2)  compare these management practices based on gender, educational background, age, and work experience. The sample group consisted of 226 teachers under the Prawet District Office, determined using Krejcie and Morgan's sample size table and selected through stratified random sampling based on proportional allocation, followed by simple random sampling. The research instrument was a five-point Likert scale questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.97. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Inferential statistics included t-tests and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). and compare the differences in mean scores for each pair using the Sheffe's.

The results were as follows:

1)Teacher's overall satisfaction with the management practices of early childhood education administrators under the Prawet District Office, Bangkok, was at the highest level. When analyzed by individual aspects, satisfaction remained at the highest level across all dimensions. Ranked by mean scores, the highest was in budget management, followed by general administration, academic administration, and the lowest was in personnel administration.

           2) The comparison of teachers’ satisfaction with the management practices of early childhood education administrators, categorized by gender and educational background, revealed no statistically significant differences, both overall and in each dimension. However, when categorized by age and work experience, statistically significant differences were found at the .05 level in overall satisfaction.
