The Promotion of Teamwork among Personnel of School Administrators under Kanchanaburi Provincial Office Of Learning Encouragement

Abstract

The purposes of this study were 1)to investigate the level of teamwork among personnel under the Kanchanaburi Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement; and
2)to examine guidelines for encouraging teamwork among personnel under the Kanchanaburi Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement. A mixed-methods research design was employed. The population comprised 242 personnel affiliated with the Kanchanaburi Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement. The research instruments consisted of a questionnaire with an index of item–objective congruence (IOC) ranging from 0.67 to 1.00 and a reliability coefficient of 0.986. Quantitative data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Qualitative data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using content analysis. The findings were synthesized and presented in a descriptive narrative form

The research findings revealed that:

1.The overall level of teamwork among personnel under the Kanchanaburi Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement across six dimensions was at a high level. When considering each dimension, the cooperation dimension had the highest mean score, while the mutual trust dimension had the lowest mean score.

2.the guidelines for encouraging teamwork among personnel under the Kanchanaburi Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement comprised six dimensions with a total of sixteen guidelines, namely: effective communication; clear objectives and shared goals; mutual trust; coordination; cooperation; and appropriate work processes and decision-making.
