2 Digital Skills of School Administrators Affecting the Effectiveness of School Administration in Schools under the Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract
This research aimed to 1) to study the digital skills of school administrators, 2) to
study the effectiveness of school administration, 3) to examine the relationship between school
administrators’ digital skills and the effectiveness of school administration, and 4) to examine
the digital skills of school administrators that affect the effectiveness of school
administration. Participants in this study were 327 school administrators and teachers selected
using stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a reliability
coefficient of 0.99. Statistical analyses included percentage, mean, standard deviation, and
Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. The research findings showed
that 1) the overall digital skills of school administrators were at the highest level, 2) the overall
effectiveness of school administration was at the highest level, 3) the digital skills of school
administrators had a high positive correlation with the effectiveness of school administration, and
4) the predictors of the impact of the digital skills of school administrators on the effectiveness
of school administration were found to be in five areas: innovative and creative thinking skills;
understanding of digital laws, standards, and policies; lifelong learning and digital literacy
development skills; digital citizenship and ethical use of technology skills; and digital technology
skills for management. Together, they can predict 66% of the effectiveness of school
administration.
