ACADEMIC MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES OF THAILAND 4.0 OF SCHOOLS UNDER KHONKAEN PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the components of academic management of Thailand 4.0, of schools in Khonkaen Primary Education Service Area, 2) to study the present and desirable condition of the academic management of Thailand 4.0 in the above-stated area, and 3) to develop strategies for the academic management of Thailand 4.0 of The aforementioned schools. Mixed – methods research was undertaken for this study. The samples were school directors, teachers under all five Khonkaen Primary Education Service Areas with the total number of 399 persons selected by simple random sampling process. The instrument used was questionnaire with reliability of 0.91. Statistics used percentage, mean, standard diviation (S.D.) and PNIModified. The research results were as follows: 1. With regard to academic management components, there are 7 aspects altogether, namely. 1) teacher development, 2) development of learning process, 3) curriculum development, 4) utilization of media, innovation and education technology, 5) educational supervision, 6) evaluation and measurement, and 7) research for academic development. 2. As for present condition of the academic management of Thailand 4.0, in all, it is at moderate level while considering each and individual aspect all are also at moderate level. The desirable condition of the academic management of Thailand 4.0, in all, is at the highest level while considering each and individual aspect, all are also at the highest level. 3. Regarding the development of the strategies for academic management of Thailand 4.0, 7 strategies were formulated with 22 measures and 56 indicators. All the strategies are of assured appropriateness, feasibility and utility.
