GOOD GOVERNANCE STRATEGIES OF PRESIDENT OFFICE FOR RAJAMANGALA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY ISAN

Abstract

The purpose of this research article were 1) To study current conditions and desirable conditions under the administration of the principles of good governance of president office, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan. 2) To The deverlope good governance strategies of president office, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan. The research was a mixed method which determinted the sample size by using Krejcie and Morgan table by stratified random sampling method. The samples were 13 administrators, 175 teachers, 147 teaching assistants, for a total of 335. The instrument for data collection was questionnaires with 5 levels of rating scales. The statistics used were percentage, mean, standard deviation and PNImodified. The researcher analyzed and synthesized data from focus group discussion by 9 eminent people. The research findings were as follows. The current conditions were moderate level. The highest average was the administration of the principles of response. The second highest was the administration of the principles of responsibility and the lowest was the administration of the principles of consensus. Furthermore, the desirable conditions were high. The highest average was the administration of the principles of participation. The second highest was the administration of the principles of equality and the lowest was the administration of the principles of response. The development of good governance strategies of president office, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan includes 8 strategies 31 measures and 68 indicators which passed suitable evaluation: they are possible and useful by 5 eminent people
