THE DEVELOPMENT OF CLASSROOM RESEARCH TEACHING METHODOLOGY FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION, MAHAMAKUT BUDDHIST UNIVERSITY

Abstract

This research has the following objectives: 1) to develop teaching of the research methodology in classroom for post-graduate students of Graduate School of Mahamakut Buddhist University 2) to evaluate teaching of the research methodology in classroom for post-graduate students of Graduate School of Mahamakut Buddhist University as a research and development. The sample includes 2 groups of population: 1) group conversation among 14 students to explore foundational data 2) Using 31 fourth-year undergraduates who are studying at the level of the 2nd semester of the academic year 2561 as one single sample by testing the outcome before and after learning the subject in duration of 1 semester by setting a test score deviation at 0.05. Searching the effectiveness of the research study unit in the classroom by setting the level at 80/80 (E1/E2). And evaluating the appropriateness of the teaching research methodology in the classroom by a group discussion method among 12 post graduate students consist of 7 monks and 5 government school teachers. The research finds that: 1) 1.1) the best way of teaching research methodology in classroom is experimental learning approach 1.2) the need of improvement of teaching research methodology in classroom is at the high level (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 3.85),    1.3) the post-test scores of the study is different from the pre-test which is statistically significant at 0.05, 1.4) the effectiveness of the process (E1) of the research study unit in the classroom equal to 87.87 and the efficiency of the output (E2) of the research study unit in the classroom equal to 89.13. 1.5) The general satisfaction of the teaching research methodology in classroom by the mean average is at the highest level at ( gif.latex?\bar{x}  = 4.66) 1.6) the students are able to apply the knowledge gained from the classroom in their teaching is at the highest level at ( gif.latex?\bar{x}  = 4.65). 2) Suitability in implementing way of teaching research methodology in classroom to conduct in further teaching by students is at the highest level (gif.latex?\bar{x}  = 4.77)
