DEVELOPMENT ASQ3RS PROGRAM FOR ENHANCING READING ACHIEVEMENT IN UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Abstract

This article is an experimental research. The purposes of this research are 1) to implement the ASQ3Rs Program for enhancing reading achievement in undergraduate students, 2) to study the efficiency of ASQ3Rs Program in enhancing reading achievement of undergraduate students. The samples include 60 third-year students at Burapha University. The instruments include  1) experimental instrument which is the ASQ3Rs Program for enhancing reading achievement and 2) dependent variable test instruments which are reading achievement evaluation program. t-test is used to analyze statistical data. The results are as follows. 1) The ASQ3Rs Program makes reading performance more readable than normal reading and the quality checking from experts result of ASQ3RR's program is very good. (CVI value = 1.00) 2) The comparison of the reading achievement before and after implementing the ASQ3Rs Program shows that the post-test score ( gif.latex?\bar{x} = 33.00, S.D. = 2.51) is higher than the pre - test score ( gif.latex?\bar{x}= 22.75, S.D. = 2.55) at the statistical significance of .05. 3) The comparison of the reading achievement of the samples using ASQ3Rs Program, the samples using e-learning program, and the samples reading from the book shows that the reading achievement score of the samples using ASQ3Rs Program is higher than the other groups at statistical significance of .05
