THE DEVELOPMENT OF PRODUCTS MODEL FOR PRESERVATION OF 5 KINDS OF MEDICINE ACCORDING TO BUDDHIST PRINCIPLES

Abstract

The Objectives of this research article were to create innovation of product design development to preserve 5 kinds of medicines according to Buddhist Principles. A sample group was 8 months/ persons. The sample group was divided into 3 subgroups. There was 1) an academic group of nutrition 2) the Vipassana Chan group and 3) a group of business entrepreneur. The data of participatory observation with an experimental production process for the research were analyzed, synthesized and summarized. The results of the research showed that the product design development to preserve 5 kinds of medicine according to Buddhist Principles got new innovations of 5 product forms including 1) honey products extracted in soft capsules 2) condensed, extracted pellets, packaged butter products in square shape 3) ghee products with extraction packaged in an elliptical wrapped shape 4) sesame oil extracted in soft capsules and 5) pellets of pure sugar cane juice product packed by round printed shape including outstanding, modern and hygienic. The sweetness of honey was controlled. The sugar cane juice controlled the amount of condensed butter, ghee and sesame oil per serving according to the principles of essential nutrition to a body. It had health nourishing properties and prevented nutritional deficiencies. Benefits from this research were the development of the storage forms for the 5 kinds of medicines used scientific and technological production process. The medicines were followed principles of nutrition, food and medicine in accordance with difference from original Buddhism principles and of good quality. It was suitable for the needs per consumption. The image of the product was modern, and interesting. It could be used for consumption as medicines or treatment for monks, novices, nuns, dharma practitioners, 8 and 10 precepts, and the general public. The product design development to preserve 5 kinds of medicine was able to bring to the commercial market in a concrete way.
