THE SCENARIO OF DUAL VOCATIONAL EDUCATION WITH WORKPLACES IN ABROAD FOR COLLEGES UNDER THE OFFICE OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION COMMISSION IN THREE SOUTHERN BORDER PROVINCES

Abstract

          The Objectives of this research article were to investigate the Scenario of Dual Vocational Education with Workplaces in Abroad for Colleges under the Office of Vocational Education Commission in Three Southern Border Provinces. The research was based on EDFR (Ethnographic Delphi Future Research). The semi-structured interview was used for the research instrument by asking the opinions of 32 people; director group, teachers or educational personnel group, abroad representative group who involved in dual vocational education and used the five-rating scale questionnaire for 21 specialists. The interviewees and specialists were purposively selected. The data taken from the interview were analyzed through content analysis, along with the compare and contrast process and data from the questionnaire were analyzed with basic statistics to calculate the median, mode and range between quartiles. The study revealed that the experts’ opinions for the future scenario trends to the possible management of dual vocational education with workplaces in abroad during 2020-2029 are: 1) Readiness survey aspect including three components: 1) coordination, 2) public relations and 3) student selection. 2) The signing of a memorandum of cooperation aspect including two components: 1) the collective agreement and 2) the legislation. 3) Preparation of teachers and learner’s aspect including two components: 1) the preparation of teachers in the workplace and 2) the preparation of learners. 4) Course Management aspect including six components: 1) the curriculum design 2) the training contract 3) the learning in educational institutions 4) vocational training in the workplace 5) supervision, vocational training and 6) evaluation and assessment.
