Factors affecting to the student’s graduation achievement motivation of program in education administration in School of Education Studies, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University

The purposes of this research were (1) to study the level of achievement motivation for students’ graduation; (2) to study about the factors of learners, instructors, teaching and learning management, curriculum and content, teaching and learning support services, learning environment and educational policy that affected to the student]s graduation achievement motivation of the Master of Education program (Educational Administration); and (3) to create an equation to predict the factors affecting to the student’s graduation achievement motive of the Master of Education program (Educational Administration).
The sample consisted of 178 students in education administrative program and graduated who graduated between 2012 – 2015, selected by stratified random sampling method. The employed research instruments were questionnaire on the factors that affecting to the student’s graduation achievement motive, with reliability coefficient of 0.862, 0.871, 0.942, 0.927, 0.942, 0.931, and 0.931, respectively; and a questionnaire on the achievement motivation for students’ graduation, with reliability coefficient of 0.820. The statistics used in data analysis were the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.
The research finding were as follows: (1) the overall rating means of all factors were at the high level; (2) factors significantly affecting the achievement motivation for student’s graduation were the learners factor (Z1) and educational policy factor (Z2); and (3) the prediction equation of the achievement motivation for student’s graduation in the form of standard scores could be shown as follow:
Z = 0.221 Z1 + 0.454 Z2
