THE ACADEMIC MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES OF SCHOOLS UNDER THE INSTITUTE IN AGRICULTURAL VOCATIONAL EDUCATION NORTHEASTERN REGION

The objectives of this article were to: 1) study the current and desirable conditions of academic administration of educational institutions under the Agricultural Vocational Institute, and 2) determine and evaluate the academic administration strategies of educational institutions under the Agricultural Vocational Institute. This research was a research and development model with 3 phases: Phase 1: There are 3 phases of action research: Phase 1: study current and desirable conditions of academic management, the sample was administrators and persons involved in academic administration of 113 people, data collected by questionnaires, analyze data with frequency statistics, percentages, averages, and standard deviation. Phase 2: establish academic management strategies, key informants was qualified person with knowledge and ability of 108 people, data collected by in-depth interviews and focus group discussions, content Analysis. And Phase 3: evaluate of strategies, key informants was qualified person with knowledge and ability of 9 people, data collected by questionnaires, analyze data with frequency statistics, percentages, averages, standard deviation and summarizing as an overview. The results of the study revealed that: 1) current and desirable conditions academic management. The overall picture is at the highest level and the most ( = 3.94, S.D.= 0.65), (
= 4.56, S.D.= 0.56) PNI Modified 0.02 – 0.10 and the highest average is the department's administrative development and the second is the development of teaching materials. And 2. The strategic formulations include: vision, mission, goals, and strategic issues include: 1) strengthening the administration of the department, 2) improving the quality of teaching materials, 3) improving curriculum quality, 4) strengthening bilateral vocational education systems, 5) improving the quality of measurement and evaluation systems, and 6) strengthening academic services and libraries. The strategy assessment is appropriate and feasibility, average of >3.51 higher Very appropriate, conformity assessment.
