PACKAGING DEVELOPMENT OF MOA - ROE RICE BY MOA - ROE BROWN RICE GROUP TAMBON NOEN NGAM RAMAN DISTRICT YALA PROVINCE

Abstract

          The objectives of this research article were to develop the Nuern-Ngam Moa-Roe Rice Packaging design which is the product of Nuern-Ngam, Raman, Yala by designing packaging for the target customers. The research article was mixed-methods research that use both quantitative and qualitative research. The research article use 30 representative sample ,using a random sampling method. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including, proportion and mean. The results of the research article were as follows: 1) Packing design that has the highest packaging satisfaction from samples was the third design with an average of 4.90 compared among 4 designs. 2) The packaging that was made from a paper bag could contained one kilogram rice. In addition, this kind of packaging was appealing durable and recycled. 3) The label that contained product details including logo, manufacturing name and trademark communicated clearly to the consumers. Moreover, this type of label attracted much attention from the consumers.To sum up, the third packaging of Moa-Roe Rice for the reasons that it could easily convey to the product and increase potential to the brown rice group selling Moa-Roe Rice in Nuern-Ngam, Raman, Yala.
