COMPUTER PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE FACULTY OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES RAJAMANGALA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY TAWAN-OK

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were to 1) Study the operational model for clerical work the Faculty of Humanities 2) Design and develop computer programs for administrative tasks 3) Propose guidelines for administrative operations using computer programs. It is mixed methods research, the design of administrative systems to develop computer programs. Test the program by creating scenarios, comparing the operating time between the old system and the new system with the format of the program running online. Select a specific sample, consisting of administrative staff 1 person 10 student from the Faculty of Humanities was asked to participate in the testing of the program. Reduce work errors Reduce data redundancy Reduce operating time and reduce the amount of paper documents. When comparing the operating time between the old work system and the new one. A scenario test by submitting an online petition from 10 students found that the original system used to fill out the paperwork took 20 minutes, and the new system took 8 minutes. Reduced time by 12 minutes The duration was reduced by 60 percent and the administrative operations of handling 10 student petitions were tested. It found that the old work system took 150 minutes, the new system took 20 minutes, the time was reduced by 130 minutes, the duration was reduced by 86.67 percent. The new system is paper - free as it operates through a computer program system and leads to the use of computer programs to conduct administrative tasks to submit student petitions and to receive administrative requests online. Present an operational model for clerical work. A computer program system in the administration is established that is fast and accurate.
