DEVELOPMENT OF DEMONSTRATION AND LEARNING CENTER FOR ECONOMIC TREE PLANTING FOR ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEVELOPMENT OF GRASSROOTS COMMUNITY IN MOUNTAIN AREAS BY THE KING'S PHILOSOPHY IN BAN KHUNMAERUAM CHIANG MAI PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were to 1) study the situation of economic tree planting according to the King's Philosophy 2) to study the economic wood learning center in applying the King's Philosophy and 3) develop a model of a learning center for economic wood according to the King's Philosophy. It is qualitative research, emphasizing field study and participatory research. Divided into 4 groups 1) They are community leaders, 2) village committees, 3) community philosophers/spiritual leaders and               4) Pga K’nyau ethnic group Ban Khunmaeruam. 17 monks/priests were used by interview form to analyze descriptive statistical data. The results revealed that: 1) Planting economic trees in communities for economic and environmental development The community also has a basic lifestyle that is dependent on nature and the environment as can be seen from the way of life and economy. culture that is inherited from ancestors and has evolved to change according to current conditions in this regard an economic forest stewardship structure committee was established and played a role in the management and care of the economic forest. 2) Development of a demonstration and learning center for economic tree planting It is a learning center. Therefore, it has been established as a demonstration center to promote learning on economic logging and conservation of forest resources by the community in which the community has a role in managing and taking care and learning centers with the concept of community development. and 3) The presentation of economic tree planting Propose a model of forest planting by agroforestry system of Ban Khunmaeruam community. Which is an area where agriculture in forest areas such as the cultivation of agricultural crops in the natural forest area, this community is close to natural forest areas.
