RISK MANAGEMENT WITH FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT GROUP LISTED ON THE STOCK EXCHANGE OF THAILAND

Abstract

This research article aims to 1) Study economic factors consisting of headline inflation, interest rate, the exchange rate between the baht and the US dollar, Gross Domestic Product Index and the Stock Exchange of Thailand index that affects the dividend yield of securities property development group listed on The Stock Exchange of Thailand; 2) Study performance factors by measuring earning quality on an accrual basis consist of Working Capital Accruals and Total Net Operating Accruals that affect the dividend yield; and 3) Study risk management guidelines for return on investment in property development groups listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The research analyzes quantitative data by using multiple regression analysis and qualitative data by using content analysis. The results revealed that 1) Economic factors consist of headline inflation, interest rate, the exchange rate between the baht and the US dollar, Gross Domestic Product Index and the Stock Exchange of Thailand index affects the dividend yield of securities significantly at the 0.05 level; 2) Performance factors by measuring earning quality on an accrual basis consist of Working Capital Accruals and Total Net Operating Accruals that affect the dividend yield of securities significantly at the 0.05 level; and 3) There are 4 approaches for managing return on investment risk: 1) Integration 2) Profit opportunities 3) Base investment policy and 4) Value insurance. Investors should consider the level of factors affecting risk along with it.
