Management Information System for Budget Requisition: A case study of Sepet Subdistrict Administrative Organization

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to develop the management information system for budget requisition of Sepet subdistrict administrative organization. The system consisted of four budget requisition procedures: 1) creating of the budget requisition form, 2) sending of the budget requisition, 3) checking budget requisition information and 4) approvement of the budget requisition. The system was developed in form of a web application using C#.net and Microsoft SQL Server. The development and testing results showed that the system was able to facilitate officers in managing budget requisition process. The manager received information for making decision in the budget requisition. In addition, general users were able to check their payment any time. The system was evaluated in term of user satisfaction using questionnaires collected from 2 groups including 10 officers and 20 general users. The results showed that the average of officers’ satisfaction was 4.56 with the standard deviation of 0.50, and the average of general users’ satisfaction was 4.51 with the standard deviation of 0.50. Therefore, it could be concluded that the users’ satisfaction towards our system was in the high level.
