THE ANALYSIS OF THAI POLITICAL PARTIES UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE CONSTITUTION AND THE CURRENT THE ORGANIC ACT ON POLITICAL PARTY

Abstract

This article aims to study and analyze Thai political parties under the provisions of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand B.E. 2560 and the Organic Act on Political Party B.E.2560, what their intentions and essence are about political parties. By studying and researching the documents, the collected data is then analyzed by analyzing the content and presenting the results of the descriptive analysis.

            The study found that the provisions of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand B.E. 2560 and the Organic Act on Political Party B.E.2560 have significant and good intentions in developing political parties to become strong political institutions. Starting from party members who can participate and play a wide political role in carrying out activities with political parties. This is considered to create democracy within political parties and give people the freedom to form a political party according to the common ideology under the democratic regime of government with the King as Head of State. However, there are still some provisions of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand and the current the Organic Act on Political Party on some issues that still have difficulty in enforcing. due to ambiguity and is inconsistent with the context or reality of society, especially regarding the actions of political parties in establishing political party branches and the Fund for the Development of Political Parties, etc. Therefore, the state and related parties should jointly consider and find a way to amend the said provisions to be more correct and fair in order to comply with the intent of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, B.E. 2560, to develop Thai political parties into institutions. Political stability and strength continue.
