Improving Way of Teaching Kamma in Thailand

Abstract

There are many misunderstandings of Kama doctrine in Buddhism of Thai people which knew that Kamma is the result of bad action in precious life and there is the hostile or ghost making the bad situation in recent life. In that case, they ask the medium or the astrologer to fortune or to do solving Kamma ceremony, so it becomes the business for these people who make these actions. Because of people’s faith, the illegal actions were occurred by frauds such as, racketeer, rape, or any bad things. As these above reasons, Kamma teaching procedure ought to be remodeled as the solution, with shame and dread in own bad action must be realized that it happened because what we had made and we need to accept the later result. Kamma description should follow the principle of reason and empirically see to let the people consider and critically think by themselves as in the truth. In the time of problem, they wouldn’t blame the precious action or supranatural power, instead, they would think what the cause of problem and find the right way to solve it.
