Abstract

Originally, education management was a teacher-centered approach. The teacher is the one who gives the students the recipient focusing on memorizing textbooks and doing exercises according to the textbook which does not focus on the learning process according to the abilities of each learner. It is causing problems in teaching and learning management because there are weaknesses in being unable to take into account of individual differences. Therefore leading to a modern education management which has a variety of techniques to raise the quality of education for learners to develop skills in all 5 areas. There are intelligence, knowledge, morality, ethics, analytical thinking and coexistence with others in society. It is expected that people with this quality will result in social stability. Therefore, this article aims to 1) Study the problems of the former teaching and learning techniques 2) Review the important factors influencing teaching and learning techniques 3) Present contemporary teaching techniques which will be beneficial to the education industry especially teachers who can apply contemporary teaching techniques to create quality graduates which will contribute to the development of the country such as boosting economics via creating new businesses , innovation and good society to live together.
