SKILLS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES FOR INNOVATIVE THINKING TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY ENTERPRISES FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION STUDENTS, PHETCHABURI RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract

This research aims to (1) develop an innovative thinking skill development activity to promote community enterprises among Public Administration students at Phetchaburi Rajabhat University and (2) study the results of implementing this activity. This is a quasi-experimental research study. The sample group consisted of 80 third-year Public Administration students, specializing in local administration, from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Phetchaburi Rajabhat University in the 2025 academic year, selected by purposive sampling. The research instruments included
(1) the innovative thinking skill development activity for promoting community enterprises, (2) an evaluation form for innovative thinking skills, and (3) a satisfaction survey. The statistics used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The research findings were as follows: (1) The innovative thinking skill development activity for promoting community enterprises consisted of four activity plans. The content included the principles of operating a community enterprise and innovative thinking skills for promoting community enterprises. The suitability of the activity plans was evaluated at a very good level. (2) The innovative thinking skills of the sample group after participating in the activity were significantly higher than before participation, with a statistical significance level of .05. (3) The sample group's satisfaction with the activity was at the highest level.
