This research aimed to: 1. describe the general conditions and factors affecting teachers' performance in higher education institutions in Liaoning Province; and 2. compare the relationship between these factors and teachers' perceptions of trust in administration, differentiated by gender. Employing a quantitative research design, data were collected using questionnaires distributed to a sample of 250 faculty members from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in public and private universities in Liaoning Province, China. The sample was selected using cluster random sampling. The questionnaire's content validity was assessed with an Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) of 0.85. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics (percentage, mean, standard deviation), and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS. The findings revealed that the majority of social science teachers in Liaoning Province were female. Furthermore, the analysis indicated a significant positive relationship between specific dimensions of women's leadership (namely, responsibility, humility, admiration and gratitude, team unity, and perceived completeness) and teachers' feelings of trust in administration. Additionally, the study found no significant differences in this relationship based on the gender of the teachers.
