THE PARENTS’NEEDS TOWARDS THE EDUCATION MANAGEMANT OF WAT SAO THONG KLANG SCHOOL UNDER THE OFFICE OF PRIMARY EDUCATION SERVICE, SAMUT PRAKARN AREA 2

Abstract
The purposes of this research were 1) to study the levels of the parents’needs towards the education management of Wat Sao Thong Klang School under the Office of Primary Educational Service, Samut Prakarn Area 2, and 2) to compare the needs of parents towards the education management of Wat Sao Thong Klang School under the Office of Primary Educational Service, Samut Prakarn Area 2, classified according to age, educational level and occupation. The participants of this study were 214 parents from Wat Sao Thong Klang School in the academic year 2020, selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. A questionnaire was used to collect the data and the statistics used in the data analysis were frequencies, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and one way ANOVA.
The research results showed that: 1) The overview of the parents ‘needs towards the education management of Wat Sao Thong Klang School under the Office of Primary Educational Service, Samut Prakarn Area 2 was at a high level. The highest average was the teacher and the lowest one was the relationship between the school and the communities, and 2) the comparison of the parents ‘needs towards the education management of Wat Sao Thong Klang under the Office of Primary Educational Service, Samut Prakarn Area 2, classified according to age, educational level and occupation was found that there were no statistically significant level of 0.05 except in the relationship between the communities and the school. While comparing in pairs, it was found that parents who were under 30 years old had more needs towards the education management of the school than the parents who were over 50 years old. However, there were no statistically significant level of 0.05 for the parents who had different educational, and occupational level in overview and individual aspect in the needs for education management of Wat Sao Thong Klang School aspect.
