LEARNING BINARY NUMBERS AND SOLVING MATHEMATICAL PROBLEMS THROUGH MORSE CODE

Abstract

              This article aims to explain the fundamental concepts of the binary number system (Binary Numbers) and its relationship with Morse Code , focused on practical applications in daily life and the development of communication and problem-solving skills. The methods used in this study include logical analysis, designing learning activities that integrate Morse Code with binary numbers, and creating practical examples, such as converting English text into Morse Code and binary numbers.The key findings of the study found that using Morse Code and binary numbers together enhances understanding of mathematical concepts and improves students' learning efficiency. Additionally, it helps develop the logical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. These findings are able to be applied to teaching and learning by utilizing the knowledge of binary numbers and Morse Code in the daily life and designing learning activities that foster students' interest and enthusiasm, thereby promoting effective education.
