Abstract
“Gardens are not logged overgrown grass, relatives who do not meet each other to become someone else.” : “Tai relative” and Management of cultural tourism in Poi Son Nam Tradition of Tai Dehong, Yunnan, China
Tai or Dai in Dehong of Yunnan, China have Songkran Tradition, as well as Tai other groups called "Poi Son Nam". This is an old tradition of Tai people to abide by the Songkran's Myth. Nowadays, the tradition is supported by the government and upgrading to be the cultural festivals. This article aims to present the dynamics of the 'Poi Son Nam' tradition of Tai Dehong and study how to manage the creative economy in terms of cultural tourism. To collect data was collected at the Dehong between March 11 - April 14, 2558. The results showed that this festival use the ‘nostalgia’ and 'Tai identity’, as a key concept for managing creative folklore in 'Poi Son Nam' tradition through various management strategies including; invited representatives from the Tai groups as a guest, preserved the old tradition and “Buddhismness", showed various Tai Performances and Tai folk art competition of Tai Dehong and created a proud record of Tai through the Guinness Book Record each year. This is the mechanism that stimulates the economy and tourism of Dehong city based on the concept "Tainess".
